This policy explains what personal information Webventure Solutions collects, why, how long we keep it and your rights. It applies to webventuresolutions.com and to certificates we issue.

Information we collect
When you contact us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message, and any company name or phone number you choose to give. We use this to reply and to discuss the work you ask about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We keep enquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless they become part of a project.
Certificate holders
When we issue an internship, employment, contract or training certificate, we record the holder’s name, position, type and schedule of work, start and end dates, department, a short summary of the work, the issue date and an email address used to send the certificate. We also record the date of birth, but only as a one-way secure hash, so the date itself is not stored and cannot be read back.
We process this information to issue certificates and to let employers and schools confirm they are genuine. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest, and the holder’s, in providing verifiable records of work. The public verification page shows the name, position, type, schedule, dates, duration, issue date and status. It never shows the date of birth or email address. Visitors can only check whether a date of birth they already have matches our record.
We keep certificate records for as long as they may need to be verified. A certificate holder can ask us to review or remove their record at any time.
Visitors to the website
The website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our server records standard technical information, such as IP addresses, for security. To prevent abuse of the contact form and certificate checks, we keep a temporary count of recent requests, linked to a scrambled (pseudonymised) form of the IP address, for up to 24 hours. Contact form messages are stored with the same scrambled form of the IP address to help us deal with abuse.
The map on the contact page is provided by Google and only loads if you choose to show it. Google’s privacy policy then applies to that map.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and email, such as our hosting provider, under contracts that require them to protect it, or where the law requires us to.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email hello@webventuresolutions.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Security
The website uses HTTPS. Certificate records are stored in a private database that is not accessible through the public website, and administrative access is limited and protected.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
